Good point about the music downloads. I never thought I'd see the day that you would be paying for that - being an early Napster fan myself. Honestly, I thought when they started charging, people would loose interest. Boy was I wrong!

I do have my whiteboard in my home office and what's written there are my tasks and subtasks with a specific period of time for each task to be accomplished. I try very hard not to miss any scheduled task because this will ruin my accomplishments.

It's amazing the things that people come up with. Who would have ever thought you could make so much money just by loading songs onto people's ipods? I never would have guessed that people would pay to have that done for them.

It's amazing the niche businesses that the web is creating for people out there. Find a need, fill a demand and you may just see success. I especially like to hear stories about people who just kinda approached it like that and stumbled onto success, too. Whateverlife saw a need and filled a demand - and she just may get rich because of it. How absolutely fantastic is that???? I love it.

Wow, I'm surprised this has not made it to the states yet. A really great idea and they look so much easier to handle. This is a definite example of how effective creative thinking can be. They came up with a simple solution that consumers are willing to spend more money on. Genious!

One of Dave's points that I thought was crucial was #1: "Don't assume."

A lot of people would be stopped in their tracks right there -- they wouldn't challenge the status quot because they wouldn't take the time to even consider the issue. And they just wouldn't think about it, hence they'd never come up with a solution.

Funny how thinking "outside of the box" ended up with a product developed inside of a box. It's a fantastic idea and I've even avoided purchasing melons due to the fact that I have no room for them in my refrigerator to keep them. Something like this would entice me to buy for those purposes as well as the fact that they are probably much easier to deal with slicing and serving, too. Not to mention that for the growers, I bet it's also less space consuming to grow them as well and I would imagine that they are able to grow more of them as a result of the space savings. Japanese farmers are teaching us a thing or two here, huh? Very interesting and they look great, too. Now . . . I WANT ONE!

Well, there are a few things that both blog authors as well as people leaving comments need to watch for. Negative, offensive, and impolite comments are just not tolerable. A healthy blog community organically takes care of bad apples making such offenses. I have often seen them getting followed around and weeded out.

At the same time though, the author needs to have the resilience to take comments from those who do not opine with him or her. I have also seen authors taking offense on healthy discussions and slamming people who disagree with them. Such an approach is often destructive to the blog community.

Well, that did not happen to SM Mall of Asia of the Philippines (the largest next to China) since it is strategically located in an area of great potential markets
