I was impressed indeed with the results that Twitter provided and now I'm a believer.

Twitter is definitely one of the more useful ones for business purposes. I was both pleased and surprised at how many businesspeople actually use it. Its not your "teenage underworld" like some of the more popular social networking sites. I guess Twitter is the toy of choice for adults. :)

Sounds like it sure did work! As mentioned in the post, talk about instant gratification - wow. A good point was brought up, however, that the size of your following on Twitter determines the amount of success you can achieve by using it as well. Again, further emphasizing the importance of building a network. But what I'd like to know is. . . how do you get those that you are following to follow back? That's what I'm trying to figure out right now :-) Guess maybe more twittering might help?

Yes, it worked out well, didn't it?

Although, Wilson Ng pointed out that the ability to get word of mouth references depends on the size of your Twitter following (your network). Which, to me, is all the more reason to build a network.
