Emails Not Getting Through - Black Lists and White Lists Explained

Over 40% of all emails within your marketing campaign are not being delivered. You may not even be aware of this, as many ISPs will not send back a bounce message. In fact if you are sending messages to AOL customers, AOL is now blocking over 80% of the messages that come into their servers.

Your emails are safe if folks you are sending to have MailFoundry protecting their email. We built it from the ground up not to kill spam (that’s easy) but to NOT capture legitimate emails. (that’s the hard part).

Capturing legitimate emails (False Positives) is the dirty little secret of the anti-spam industry and we based our company on fixing this.

As a longtime reader of this blog, I’m happy you addressed the issue as its becoming more and more of a real problem for email marketers.

As founder and CEO - I’m bullish on small business. To that effect I’ve created a promotion that gives small businesses the first 10 mailboxes free on our hosted anti-spam service. If you have more than 10 mailboxes, you pay. If you don’t, then you don’t pay. Easy enough. ;-)

I’ll get off my soapbox now - but feel free to email me regarding this and any other email related issues you might have questions about. david.troup@mailfoundry.com

    Have a great day!
