It is amazing what is happening with mobile phone technology. Not by the wireless companies themselves (I still lose many calls) but by software companies who are enabling an incredible suite of applications and widgets that enable you to access just about anything. One such company is Mobio Networks.
They have created over 50 apps and widgets for use on your mobile phone. Check out the short video clip linked to below for a quick demo. One of my favorites is the ‘Cheap Gas’ widget that helps you find the best gas price.
Really great idea. For someone who does their business by traveling, this seems like a very useful tool. Especially like that you can look up events, restaurants, banks, etc. That would come in very handy if you are in new city. It even offers maps! The gas price lookup is great too.
The gas price lookup is indeed a great tool. Having just recently traveled myself, it would’ve been VERY useful on that trip.
